Whilst discussing his role in the upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as Captain Reyes with Two Left Sticks, Wolfenstein: New Order‘s main character actor Brian Bloom dropped a massive hint regarding the next Wolfenstein game.
Bloom the voice of New Order‘s main character B.J. Blazkowicz responded when questioned about his involvement in any future Wolfenstein title, “I’ll be safe with this answer. If you look at Bethesda’s E3 2016 lineup there was a title hinted at in a cool way. It sparked a bit of wildfire. That subtle, very simple DOS language, going through the titles. Perhaps we’re working on that as we speak.”
The actor was referring to the DOS language shown during Bethesda’s E3 conference this year which revealed the name New Colossus directly underneath Old Blood in a list of the publisher’s past and present games, which also includes DOOM. Interestingly, New Colossus had no date next to it unlike New Order and Old Blood which had their respective release dates accompany the games along with the rest of the list.
Bethesda has yet to acknowledge Wolfenstein: New Colossus‘s existence but it certainly would be interesting to see where Bloom would fit into a new game after his mysterious conclusion in the previous title.
