After its introduction at Game Developer Conference 2017, indie developer bZillions has announced that its Rayman, Mario inspired 2D platformer Little Hawk will launch later this year for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
Inspired by classic platforming games Rayman and Super Mario Bros, Little Hawk immerses players in an epic struggle to save their village and its denizens while rescuing the Chief’s daughter, restoring magical totems and defeating the forces of evil.
“We wanted to recreate the excitement and personality of the games we love playing, like Mario and Rayman,” says Steve Weiss, CEO of bZillions. “In addition to the great characters, lush settings and awesome audio, we’ve added a few little tricks of our own that we think the players will really enjoy.”
Additionally, bZillions is currently running a Kickstarter campaign to support the completion of Little Hawk, with $5000 already secured of a $15,000 goal and 15 days left of the campaign.
Little Hawk will launch initially on Steam, followed by a release on PS4 and Xbox One.
