The chances of a current generation console remaster for EA’s classic racing game Burnout Paradise is looking increasingly more likely following a recent online listing.
Further evidence has emerged with online retailer Base.com listing an HD remaster for the decade-old racer to become available on March 30th for PS4, and presumably, Xbox One of course. The Burnout Paradise HD listing offers little information other than the price of £34.99.
At the time of writing, publisher Electronic Arts have yet to make any announcement regarding the release of a remaster, but with evidence building over the past few months for a Burnout Paradise HD, it shouldn’t be too long until we get official word from EA confirming the existence of an HD version.
Developed by Criterion Games, Burnout Paradise first launched in 2008 for PS3, PC and Xbox 360 and was welcomed by critics for its open-world gameplay that invited players to cruise at their own pace.
As always, we encourage our readers to take any rumour with a large pinch of salt until any official confirmation regarding potential titles is made.
