Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Is Second Biggest Release Of 2016, Tops UK Sales Chart

Activision’s’ Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has become the second biggest video game release of 2016 behind FIFA 17 as it took the No.1 spot in the latest UK sales chart standings. Despite a successful first week, Infinite Warfare‘s sales are down 48% on predecessor Black Ops III‘s week 1 sales with no release on either PS3 or Xbox 360 this time around.

EA DICE’s World War 1 epic Battlefield 1 is downa spot after 2 consecutive week’s spent at No.1, while FIFA 17 holds onto the No.3 spot narrowing beating The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition by 1500 sales. Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 slips a place to No.5 after its debut at No.4 last week.

Elsewhere, Football Manager 2017 makes a strong debut at No.6, whilst price promotions at big retailers and increased TV advertising see’s Skylanders Imaginators propel from No.19 to No.7.
