Call of Duty: WWII‘s first expansion The Resistance arrives today as a timed exclusive for PS4 players, and to celebrate its release Activision has released a new live-action trailer for the DLC pack.
The first of likely many future DLC drops for WWII introduces a wealth of content including new multiplayer maps, a new war mission and the continuation of Nazi Zombies with The Darkest Hour.
The live-action trailer (below) follows a group of bumbling office friends as they sneak about in a pitiful attempt to form their own resistance. It’s all a bit silly, but then what did we expect from a Call of Duty live-action trailer?
For the record, we loved Call of Duty: WWII and it shows in our review as Daniel Pitt writes: “Staying true to the traditional Call of Duty gun and gameplay we’ve come to love, WWII may very well be more of the same but its photorealism, stunning visuals, fitting soundtrack, wonderful cast and energetic gameplay make it one of the best military shooters around.”
The Resistance is available to PS4 players today before an eventual release on Xbox One and PC likely coming 30 days later.
