Call of Duty: WWII Secures Sixth Straight Week at No.1 in the UK Despite 41% Drop in Sales

Despite a 41% drop in sales, Activision’s Call of Duty: WWII has secured a sixth straight week at No.1 in the UK boxed charts.

In a rather uneventful week for sales in the UK in general, publisher Electronic Arts have 3 games inside the top 10 for week 49 as FIFA 18 holds firm at No.2, Star Wars Battlefront II climbs a place to No.3 and The Sims 4 rises 9 places to re-enter the top 10 at No.9. Elsewhere, Bethesda’s Prey at No.19 and Nintendo duo Miitopia (No.36) and Mario Kart 7 (No.35) all re-enter the top 40 this week.

The only new entry inside this weeks top 40 comes in the form of Hello Neighbor, which debuts at No.37.

As a note, it’s always worth pointing out that GFK Chart-Track stats only account for physical sales and don’t factor in digital sales.
