Who said it doesn’t pay to deal with the devil?
StudioMDHR is celebrating the milestone of 2 million sales for its tough-as-nails platforming shooter Cuphead.
The quite exceptional looking 1930’s inspired cartoon shooter only launched late September 2017 for Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam but has already gone double platinum less than 3 months on, the developer announced via a post on its website. According to stat tracking website SteamSpy, more then half that number can be attributed to the digital platform, with Cuphead purchased 1,082,565 times on Steam alone. The game had previously sold 125,000 copies in its first few days of launch on PC.
Sadly, there’s still no word from MDHR regarding a psychical launch for Cuphead so for now, you’ll have to make do with purchasing the award-winning shooter digitally on Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam.
