Dan Romer Announced as Composer for Far Cry 5

Ubisoft has announced that Dan Romer will compose the score and write original songs for Far Cry 5.

Dan Romer has made a name for himself in the music industry by providing film scores for Beasts of the Southern Wild and Beasts of No Nation. Additionally, he has produced Grammy-winning pop songs like “Say Something” performed by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera and “Treat You Better” performed by Shawn Mendes.

Aside from Far Cry 5‘s score, Dan Romer will be composing original hymns that will reflect the in-game cult’s teachings that will be performed by the Bobby Chin Nashville Choir. Set for the first time in America’s Montana, players will face off against a new cult that beings a violent take over of fictional Hope County.

The soundtrack will be available shortly before the game’s launch on February 27th, 2018. The game will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC.

Stephen has been an avid gamer for nearly 25 years, fighting alongside caped crusaders, Jedi, and biotic Asari along the way. He likes to try new things but frequently comes back to Overwatch.
