Far Cry 5 Season Pass Holders Will be Treated to Far Cry 3’s Single Player Content

Players who purchase Far Cry 5‘s Season Pass will be treated to a free copy of Far Cry 3 Classic Edition on Xbox One and PS4, Ubisoft has announced.

The news comes with the release of post-launch content details for Far Cry 5 ahead of its March 27th release date. In total, Far Cry 5 will feature 3 different expansions, while users who purchase the Season Pass will be able to play a standalone version of 2012’s Far Cry 3 single player campaign for free on Xbox One and PS4 for the first time.

Far Cry 5‘s post-launch content will include some bizarre settings and scenarios as players travel back in time to Vietnam to battle Viet Cong soldiers in Hours of Darkness, square off against the living dead across multiple B-Movie settings in Dead Living Zombies and leave Earth entirely to fight Martian arachnids in Lost on Mars.

Quite possibly the biggest takeaway from the Season Pass though is the inclusion of Far Cry 3‘s single-player content, which will be available to players who own Far Cry 5‘s Season Pass on Xbox One and PS4 4 weeks before the game makes its way onto the marketplaces of the current generation consoles as a standalone purchase. Additionally, PC players who purchase the season pass or Far Cry 5 Gold Edition will receive the full version of Far Cry 3.

Far Cry 5 will launch on March 27th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
