Grand Theft Auto 6 Could Already be in Development, According to Actor’s Resume

Update: Via PCGamesN Neff confirms that the profile is a fake. “That isn’t my page, account or résumé. I don’t even know that website. I worked on GTA 5 a long time ago and haven’t done anything since. Sorry for the confusion. It seems I’m being trolled online really badly“.

Original story:

Development for Grand Theft Auto 6 could already be underway at Rockstar Games, according to the resume of actor Tim Neff.

Originally spotted on NeoGAF, Neff, who lists Red Dead Redemption 2 amongst his current projects, is also working on Grand Theft Auto 6 with motion capture highlighted. It appears at the very least that Rockstar is actively working on a sixth main series installment for the hugely popular franchise following the roaring success of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online first released in 2013 on Xbox 360 and PS3, Xbox One and PS4 in 2014 and PC in 2015.

Further proof of the actor’s involvement comes from Neff himself with Instagram check-in’s posted at the Rockstar San Diego offices in Carlsbad, California in October of last year and February 2017.

With Rockstar currently developing the delayed Red Dead Redemption 2 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC which isn’t slated to release until early 2018, it’s very unlikely the developer will announce Grand Theft Auto 6 until the former is released, with a release date of 2019 the likely bet.

Dan has been gaming for nearly 30 years and has survived everything from Nuclear Fallouts to Zombie Outbreaks but his main love is Survival Horror and don't we all know it.
