Halloween Comes Early to Dead By Daylight’s Console Versions

Dead By Daylight‘s console editions will be getting a visitor from one of the most storied horror film franchises around this August.

The Halloween DLC Pack will allow players to recreate some of their favorite scenes by including a new survivor, killer, and map. Players will be able to slash their way through survivors as Michael Myers who’s perks revolve around obsessing over his victims. Meanwhile, Laurie Strode must attempt to survive the night but has the ability to stun a killer in a  last-ditch attempt to survive. Finally, the new map of Haddonfield, Illinois brings players to the location where the first Halloween film took place and set to terrorize film goers in 1978. No precise date or pricing has been made available for the Xbox One or PS4, however PC players have been able to download the pack since October 25th, 2016 for $6.99.

Dead By Daylight is an asymmetrical horror title that pits four survivors that must work together to escape a single killer’s bloodlust. Our own Daniel Pitt called the game “a thoroughly enjoyable and addictive experience” that is otherwise marred by connection issues on console.

Stephen has been an avid gamer for nearly 25 years, fighting alongside caped crusaders, Jedi, and biotic Asari along the way. He likes to try new things but frequently comes back to Overwatch.
