Payday 2 will arrive for Nintendo Switch on February 23rd in Europe and Australia and on February 27th, 2018 in North and South America, Starbreeze Studios and developer Overkill have just announced.
Marking its series debut on any Nintendo console, Payday 2 will be available both digitally from the Nintendo eShop and at retail thanks to publisher 505 Games.
With more than 5.4 million community members on digital platform Steam alone, the first-person crime shooter has been immensely popular for developer Overkill following its debut way back in 2013. In the past 4 years Payday 2 has received 160 paid and free updates along with console releases on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One and more recently, HTC Vive and other Steam headsets with Payday 2 VR, currently in beta.
Playable cooperatively with up to 3 friends online, Payday 2 invites players to become the ultimate criminal mastermind by taking on an assortment of difficulty specific heists including an art gallery, jewellery store, bank and many more.
Payday 2 will be available for Nintendo Switch in February 2018.
