Fans of the classic sci-fi film series Planet of the Apes can soon dive deeper into the rebooted simian conflict in Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier.
The title will be arriving on PS4 in both North America and Europe on November 21st. Andy Serkis’ The Imaginarium is handling development duties on the title. The Imaginarium is a production company specializing in motion capture and counts Star Wars: The Force Awakens and War for the Planet of the Apes among its credits. Players will be thrust into the conflict between Apes and Humans and will be able to sympathise with either side and craft decisions that lead to multiple endings.
On PS4 Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier has support for PlayLink, allowing for up to four players to use their smart devices to drive the action. A Steam version and Xbox One version were previously announced, however, no release date or specific features have been announced for those platforms.
