Bluehole’s 100 player battle royale bonanza PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds may have only launched one week ago for Xbox One but already the developer is putting out the games first patch to address specific issues.
Notable inclusions featured in the first of many “Xbox-focused patches” include: gas, which can now be used while players are on a bike or bike with a sidecar, equipment icons on the HUD are now visible, player icons are now more visible on the world map and of course – tweaked hair colour options, because who doesn’t want to look their best when they stand atop a pile of 99 corpses victorious?
Visually PUBG will also look better on Xbox One S and Xbox One thanks to slightly improved anti-aliasing, while the games motorcycle controls are no longer inverted and localisation for Vietnamese and Spanish has been introduced.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now for Xbox One via the Preview Program.
