2017 is now firmly behind us, and what a year it was.
Quite possibly the most significant year we’ve had in almost 2 decades with a slew of new blockbuster IPs and fantastic multiplatform and console exclusive series’ returning, not to mention a library of new indie titles to delve into. 2017 will be remembered as the year that developers and brands delivered, and with Horizon Zero Dawn, NiOh, NieR Automata, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy and Persona 5 among its list of console exclusive games in 2017, Sony will look to keep its good fortunes going heading in 2018 with a similarly strong lineup.
Never shy, Sony rang in the new year on social media by showcasing some of the titles headed the way of PS4 players over the coming 12 months via a video on Twitter. Not included in the 30-second long teaser video are Days Gone and The Last of Us: Part II, yet players are still treated to an envious list of games that include: Insomniac’s Spider-Man, Shadow of the Colossus, Detroit: Become Human, Media Molecule’s Dreams and of course, Santa Monica Studios hotly anticipated God of War; all of which are confirmed to arrive this year.
Happy New Year! It's going to be a great year to play. pic.twitter.com/452k3qziSW

Of course, this is only a fraction of things to come for PS4 owners, but 2018 is already shaping up to be another strong year for the Sony brand if those 5 titles are anything to go by.
