Resident Evil 7 Banned Footage Vol.1 and Vol.2 DLC Detailed, Vol.1 Out Now on PS4

If you managed to survive the horrors of the Baker Estate chances are you’re already looking for your next fix, fear not though as Capcom has you covered with the release of Resident Evil 7‘s first DLC pack – Banned Footage Vol.1.

PS4 players can already access the first of 2 upcoming DLC packs, with Banned Footage Vol.1 available now individually at £7.99/€9.99/$9.99 or as part of Resident Evil 7‘s Season Pass or Deluxe Edition.

Banned Footage Vol.1 provides 2 new chapters with “Nightmare” a scenario that follows cameraman Clancy, who must craft weapons and ammo in order to survive until morning against hordes of enemies and “Bedroom” which sees Clancy once more, this time attempting to escape the Baker plantation while avoiding the attention of the lovely Marguerite Baker. Additionally, players will also have access to an all-new game mode entitled “Ethan Must Die”, a tough new mode that remains separate from Resident Evil 7‘s main story.

All scenarios barring Ethan Must Die are playable in PSVR.

And as if that wasn’t enough, PS4 players need only wait a further 2 weeks before the release of Banned Footage Vol.2, Resident Evil 7‘s second DLC pack, available February 14th.

Available this Valentines Day, Banned Footage Vol.2 follows the same pattern as Vol.1, but at the slightly higher asking price of £11.99/€14.99/$14.99.

Players will need to gamble with their own lives in a deadly game against Lucas Baker in “21”, before going back in time for a look at the Baker family’s life prior to the tragic events of the main game in “Daughters”. An extra gameplay mode titled “Jack’s 55th Birthday” will be available, providing players with a race against the clock to serve up treats to Jack Baker on the day of his special celebration.

All scenarios barring Jack’s 55th Birthday are playable in PSVR.

Banned Footage Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 will be available to purchase for Xbox One and PC players on February 21st, or free as part of Resident Evil 7‘s Season Pass or Deluxe Edition, with additional DLC – “Not a Hero” arriving sometime this Spring.

Better known as RzrsS in the video game scene, Stephan Rodts has been playing video games for nearly his entire life. He started out shooting poor ducks out of the sky in Duck Hunt on the Nintendo, but now shoots everything that moves. Be warned.
