Sub-Zero Joins Injustice 2’s Roster Today

Injustice 2‘s roster feels a little colder today with Mortal Kombat veteran Sub-Zero joining the fray as DLC today.

Sub-Zero will initially be available to those who purchased the Ultimate or Deluxe Editions of the game, as well as those who purchased Fighter Pack 1 or the Ultimate Pack. Sub-Zero will be available as a separate purchase on July 18th. He joins the previously released Red Hood as an addition to the initial 28 characters available. Starfire is currently the only other confirmed DLC character yet to arrive, with at least six more waiting to be revealed.

Sub-Zero will utilize his powers of cry-nancy al in the hopes of returning to his own Earth to stop new machinations from OutWorld. But when he encounters Brainiac, he sees not only a foe to the Earth of the DC Universe, but all Earths.

Injustice 2 released on Xbox One and PS4 this past May to rave reviews, including our own Will So who called the game “the ultimate package.”

Stephen has been an avid gamer for nearly 25 years, fighting alongside caped crusaders, Jedi, and biotic Asari along the way. He likes to try new things but frequently comes back to Overwatch.
