Telltale Games Announces Trio of New Seasons

Telltale Games has been hard at work on new entries to some of their biggest hits and announced three new seasons to come out over the next year via a Summer Update video.

First and closest to release is the second season of Batman: A Telltale Series entitled Enemy Within. The five-episode series will see some famed villains rise up to challenge both Bruce Wayne and Batman as he battles a returning Riddler and enemies of Wayne Enterprises. Troy Baker returns as the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman, while Anthony Ingruber returns as “John Doe”. Batman: The Enemy Within – A Telltale Series will also carry player choices over from the first season and feature Telltale’s “Crowd Play” feature, allowing friends to vote on the direction the story takes. The initial episode in the five-episode season, titled “The Enigma”, will be releasing this August 8th on Xbox One, PS4, Windows 10, Steam, and MacOS. iOS and Android versions will be arriving later this year. A Season Pass Disc will arrive in retailers in October for Xbox One and PS4.

Returning in 2018 on consoles, PCs, Mac, iOS, and Android devices, The Walking Dead: The Final Season will tell a new story with players becoming Clementine once more. The Walking Dead has been a TellTale Games staple since 2012 and will be the fifth title/season produced by the story-focused developer.

Lastly, also announced for sometime in the second half of 2018 on Xbox One, PS4, PCs, Mac, iOS, and Android devices is a second season of The Wolf Among Us. While not yet officially titled, it is confirmed that Adam Harrington and Erin Yvette will return to voice Bigby Wolf and Snow White respectively. The Wolf Among Us is based on the graphic novel series Fables and sees fairy tale creatures forced to live in New York City while keeping their true identities a secret from ordinary people, or mundies.

Telltale Games has been crafting mostly episodic games since 2004 for nearly every platform under the sun and has worked on properties ranging from Sam & Max to Back to the Future and Game of Thrones.

Stephen has been an avid gamer for nearly 25 years, fighting alongside caped crusaders, Jedi, and biotic Asari along the way. He likes to try new things but frequently comes back to Overwatch.
