Telltale Games Hire Former Microsoft Director as VP of Creative

Telltale Games has hired former Microsoft Director Leah Hoyer as its new Vice President of Creative, with Hoyer in charge of overseeing the writing, design and voiceover teams for the developer and publisher.

Hoyer worked for Microsoft between 2012 and 2014 as Director of Narrative Design, lending her talents to Microsoft Exclusives Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive and Killer Instinct in addition to being employed by the Walt Disney Company for almost 9 years, where Hoyer oversaw animated series including Phineas & Ferb and Lilo and Stitch.

With Borderlands, The Walking Dead, A Game of Thrones and Batman among a large list of previously released projects, Telltale Games are likely to be extremely busy once again in 2017, with the development of an episodic Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy game already underway.

Telltale Games’ Guardians of the Galaxy is due out this Spring for consoles, PC and various handheld devices.
