Yooka-Laylee Launches on Nintendo Switch December 14th

Playtonic Games has announced that Yooka-Laylee is coming to the Nintendo Switch on December 14th.

Developed by veterans of British developer Rare, Yooka-Laylee is a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie. Players control a chameleon and a bat as they traverse the colorful worlds hidden in magical books and retrieve Golden Pages. Especially for the Nintendo Switch version will be single Joy-Con play across all multiplayer mini-games for up to 8 players and a custom achievement system. The platforming title will be available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop on December 7th.

Our own Daniel Pitt reviewed the Xbox One version of Yooka-Laylee in April calling it “Full of colour, charm and discovery”. Yooka-Laylee is also available for PS4, Windows, MacOS, and Linux computers.

Stephen has been an avid gamer for nearly 25 years, fighting alongside caped crusaders, Jedi, and biotic Asari along the way. He likes to try new things but frequently comes back to Overwatch.
